Boards are trusting us with dues, resident records, and governing documents — so we designed HavenHOA so the sensitive parts are handled by the systems built for them, and your community's data stays walled off from everyone else's. Here's exactly how it works.
Payments route through Stripe
Dues are collected through your HOA's connected Stripe account using direct charges. Stripe directs deposits to your community's connected bank account after applicable fees.
Card data handled by Stripe
Residents enter payment card details through Stripe-hosted payment flows rather than HavenHOA forms.
Every community is isolated at the database
HavenHOA is multi-tenant, and every query runs under Postgres row-level security scoped to your community for that request. One HOA's data is invisible to another at the database layer — not just hidden in the app.
Board-approved access only
Residents can't just create an account and see your community. Every resident registration requires board approval before access is granted, and roles are governed by granular, board-controlled permissions.
Audit trails on the things that matter
Sensitive actions are recorded in an activity log with timestamps. When a resident acknowledges a required document, HavenHOA records the IP address and time for board review.
Built on infrastructure you can vet
HavenHOA runs on Stripe for payments, Supabase (managed Postgres) for data, and Vercel for hosting — established providers with their own security programs. All traffic is served over encrypted SSL/TLS connections.
You own your data
Your residents, transactions, and documents belong to your community — not to us. You can export them at any time, and if you ever leave, your data stays accessible for you to take with you. There is no lock-in and we don't hold your community's data hostage.
